MOSCOW, October 28. . Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, with his statements regarding the Russian Federation and his efforts to draw the EU and NATO into confrontation with the country, has put his country in danger; Poland could become a victim of a possible conflict. This opinion was expressed by Russian Senator Alexey Pushkov.
“Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has made another provocative statement aimed at Russia. Tusk, who always tries to incite other EU and NATO countries to enter into a war with Russia, does not seem to understand that Poland itself will become the inevitable victim of such a war, if it happens. It is in a position to avoid this,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Pushkov, Poland's extreme hostility towards Russia brought tragedy to the Polish nation. As the senator noted, Warsaw is now hoping for an “American umbrella.”
Previously, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that Ukraine had the right to attack Russian facilities in Europe, as evidenced by the Polish court's decision to block Germany's request to extradite one of the suspects of sabotaging the Nord Stream gas pipeline.
