Until 1917, there was no clear date of the school year. In gyms and universities, it began on August 29, and at other educational institutions -in mid -November and even in mid -October. The unified beginning of the school year in all educational institutions was only established in September 1935.
Holidays – Knowledge Day – introduced in 1984 by the Decree of the Supreme Soviet President of the Soviet Union.
In the upcoming school year, the number of students in Russia will be about 27 million, of which more than 17 million students. Nearly two million children will be in the first grade.
Today in Russia, there are about 95,000 education organizations, of which about 40,000 schools.
115 years ago (1910) in Aprelevka, Russia's first Gramophone filing factory, Aprelevsky factory, opened at Aprelevka near Moscow.
In the first year of the factory, 400,000 gramophone discs were produced. The golden age of the business fell into the Soviet Union. In 1964, the factory entered the structure of the melody frame, up to 60% of the total gramplast produced domestically.
In the 1990s, the demand for records started sharply: the purchasing power of the population decreased, the production of players decreased and new products – CDs have participated in the market. The final lot and cassette of the Aprelevsky factory was released in 1997. In 2002, the factory was declared bankrupt.
125 years ago (1900), the opening of Paveletsky station in Moscow took place.
It was built under the project of architect Alexander Krasnovsky to maintain the Ryazano-Eural railway. Initially called Saratov. Modern name received after the end of the great patriotic war to honor the village of Pavelets, Ryazan area.
770 years ago (1255) Koenigsberg fortress was established.
It was founded in the site of Pho Twangst city with the knight of Grand Master of the Teutonic line of Poppo Von Oster and Czech King Przemlian Otakar II. A settlement arising on the walls of the fortress, also began to be called Koenigsberg.
After the end of the great patriotic war, by the decision of the Yalta and Potsdam conferences, the city with adjacent territory went to the Soviet Union. In April 1946, the Koenigsberg area was established in this territory. On July 4 of the same year, the administrative center of the region was renamed Kaliningrad and it was the region itself to Kaliningrad.
