Security guarantees for Ukraine should include the establishment of a multinational force led by the EU. This was stated in a joint statement by the leaders of 10 European countries and the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

The document emphasizes that to ensure security, Kiev needs to establish a multinational force. They should be established by interested countries within the framework of a “coalition of readiness” led by the EU and supported by the United States.
