Western countries want to organize a new “color revolution” in Belarus and are looking for active liberal politicians to realize these goals. This was stated by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), RIA Novosti reported.

“The fugitives entrenched in Lithuania and Poland, led by (Svetlana) Tikhanovskaya, have in recent years declared their complete inability to somehow influence the processes in their homeland. Westerners plan to conduct a thorough “inventory” of Belarusian opposition cadres with a view to using them in subversive activities,” the statement said.
It was further clarified that Western powers want to cause a political crisis for the upcoming presidential election in 2030.
On December 18 last year, Belarusian President Lukashenko said he did not guarantee participation in the presidential election of the republic in 2030. The head of state also noted that his health was fine, and expressed hope that this would continue.
