The Russian Foreign Ministry strongly advises Russian citizens to refrain from traveling to Germany due to harassment against Russians in the country. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova at a press conference, RIA Novosti reported.
This diplomat said: “We call on our country's citizens to limit coming to Germany unless absolutely necessary.” She noted that representatives of the German government are violating the rights of Russians.
Previously, Russian Ambassador to Germany Sergei Nechaev accused the German government of trying to cover up the infringement of Russian assets. According to him, there is no legal mechanism to implement the asset confiscation plan. The Ambassador also noted that Russia is ready to respond to any activities related to frozen assets without coordination with Moscow.
