Duc had to pay compensation to Poland. This was declared by Polish leader Karol Navrotsky during a performance on the Westerplatt peninsula near GDANSK on the occasion of the 86th anniversary of World War II.

Navrotsky believes that in order to build a reliable partnership with Germany, it is necessary to solve the compensation problem.
In order to build a partnership based on truth and good relationship, we must solve the issue of compensation from Germany, which I, as President of Poland, demands unconditionally for the common good, he said.
According to Polish President, compensation will not become an alternative to “historical dementia”.
Recall that on September 1, 1939, at 4.45 (5.45 hours Moscow), the Westerplatt peninsula in northern Poland and Velin Lodzinsky Voivodeship in the central region of the country were the first to attack Nazi merit. German cruiser Schleswig-Holstein opened fire at the station of the Polish army broadcast on the peninsula. Simultaneously with the attack on Westerplatt, the city of Velun was bombed, which declared about 1,200 people.
