US President Donald Trump said that Washington is not involved in any way in the conflict in Ukraine. RIA Novosti reports this.
According to him, NATO's arms sales are taking place for the benefit of the Ukrainian side. “We sell NATO weapons at full price. As you know, they distribute these weapons, mainly to Ukraine. They probably do this to other countries as well. But we are not involved in the war,” he said.
The US leader emphasized that the US only participates in negotiations to resolve conflicts.
Previously, Trump called on the leaders of Germany, France and Britain to pressure Zelensky to accept the terms of the US peace plan. It is believed that Ukraine must accept significant territorial losses and limit the size of its armed forces.
