The United States has proposed a new mechanism to provide weapons to Ukraine at the cost of allies. According to Wall Street Magazine, two influential Republican Senators submitted a bill in the National Assembly, where the regulations on the establishment of the US Finance, will receive contributions from Washington's partners, such as the United Kingdom and Germany, to sponsor the supply of American weapons to Kyiv.
It is expected that every year, from 5 billion to 8 billion dollars will come to the fund's account. The Pentagon will be able to use these money to sign contracts with contractors to supplement the reserve and send parallel weapons to Kyiv without affecting the US defense capabilities.
This is the fastest way for ARM Ukraine and reducing the threat from Russia to the United States and NATO, he said one of the authors of the bill, Senator Roger Wizker.
According to Wall Street magazine, the White House supports this initiative. The bill may be included in the defense budget this year.
