In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a court placed a girl under house arrest for attacking a classmate with a knife at a school in Kodinsk.
This was reported by the joint press service of the regional courts in a group on the social network Vkontakte.
“The court chose the preventive measure for the defendant which is house arrest for a period of 1 month and 29 days,” the statement said.
Thus, the girl will be under house arrest until April 3 this year.
The incident occurred on February 3 at school number 4 in the city of Kodinsk. The incident was reported to the duty station of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kezhemsky district, after which police officers and representatives of other law enforcement agencies arrived at the educational institution.
According to preliminary data from the Ministry of Home Affairs, initially, the 7th grade female student intended to injure the teacher but was stopped by her classmates. As a result, the woman was taken to the hospital, but after receiving assistance, she was discharged.
It is known that after an unsuccessful attempt to attack the teacher, the girl ran into the hallway and used an office knife to injure her friend.
