The OA-1K Skyraider II turboprop aircraft of the US Air Force Special Operations Command miraculously avoided a collision with a Tesla electric car on a highway in the US. Videotape published New York Post newspaper.
The incident occurred on Thursday, October 23, in the area of Southeast 119th Street and Sunner Road in Oklahoma City.
In the video, a Skyraider wing appears, then the entire plane. The board sped across the highway, nearly hitting a white truck, the DVR owner's vehicle, and disappeared from sight.
According to eyewitnesses, when they encountered the plane, they recalled scenes from World War II movies, in which jet fighters and attack planes shoot at columns of refugees on the highway.
Tesla driver Matthew Topchian later spoke about his impressions of meeting the propeller plane.
“I was driving along the road when suddenly, out of nowhere, I saw a plane right above the tree and thought: “This plane seems to be flying low. Very, very low,” Topchian noted.
Reporters noticed the Skyraider was conducting a training flight from Will Rogers Air National Guard Base. During the flight, a technical problem occurred and the plane had to make an emergency landing in a field.
Comments expressed admiration when a Tesla electric car could dodge a plane falling from the sky.
