In Volgograd, a new phone given to her by her daughter exploded in the hands of a local resident. This was reported by the V1.ru portal.

According to the newspaper, the incident occurred on February 21. The victim's daughter bought on the market an Honor 90 smartphone with a memory capacity of 256 GB for 30 thousand rubles. Suddenly the gift started to glow, then it exploded several times.
The victim's daughter told reporters that the necessary certificates were clearly stated when purchasing the goods from the seller. However, the product later disappeared from the market and so did the seller himself. According to her, the device exploded in the mother's hands when a 3-year-old child was nearby. The woman tried to push him away but suffered burns on her hands.
The victim also said the phone continued to smoke and emit sparks even after the initial explosion, then turned off again when it was taken into the bathroom to soak in water. The smoke was so thick that neighbors thought there was a fire in the apartment.
The portal's interlocutor added that, as it later turned out, similar cases with this model had occurred. According to her, 62 more people bought the device from the same seller.
