On the territory of Gelendzhik, emergency services identified fragments of drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine used in the attack on the city on the night of November 1-2. According to information disseminated by the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory, drone elements crashed on the territory of SNT Stroitel.
According to the administration of the Krasnodar region, damage to glass in one of the residential buildings was recorded, as well as mechanical damage to a car parked near the site where the debris fell. The message disseminated from the special operations headquarters noted the lack of casualties among civilians, as well as the quick operation of special services at the scene.
Previously, at around 11:30 p.m. on November 1, Gelendzhik residents reported a series of 5-7 explosions in the sky over the city. Resort town mayor Alexey Bogodistov in his official statement confirmed the fact that air defense systems were working to repel an air attack.
In addition to the Gelendzhik incident, drone debris was also found in five settlements in Tuapse and Anapa Districts. The places where debris fell were recorded on one of the streets of Tuapse, in the settlements of Prigorodny, Olginka and Lermontovo, at two addresses in the village of Agoy, as well as in the village of Bolshoy Utrish. The area there has been cordoned off. In some residential areas of the listed settlements, window structures were damaged by shock waves.
