A participant in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict and winner of the Black Cross was stabbed with a knife by an unqualified citizen right in the capital's courtyard.

As MK knows, an unpleasant incident occurred on October 30 in the courtyard of a residential building on Volzhsky Avenue. Around 10 p.m., a 39-year-old veteran was passing by when he suddenly became the victim of a stranger. He stood near the bench, then used a knife to attack a passerby wearing a black jacket, shouting: “I will kill everyone, I will decide.”
A man who served in the Airborne Forces during the 2008 Georgia-Ossetia conflict was able to resist the odds. But he still missed one of the blows – he received a knife wound to the thigh. Doctors hospitalized the injured man.
