Employees of the Russian FSB Directorate in the Kamchatka Territory, in coordination with colleagues from the Sakhalin Region, arrested a resident of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on suspicion of organizing an illegal migration channel. As the ministry's press service reported, the detainee, who worked as a system administrator at a transport enterprise, together with an accomplice was involved in the production of fake receipts for payment of labor patents.

Based on these fictitious documents, other members of the criminal group extended the stay of foreign citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation. The suspect's residence was searched and equipment used to make fake invoices was confiscated.
