Russian citizen Erika Vladyko was arrested in Thailand for violating the visa regime and resisting arrest. About this RIA Novosti said the head of the consular section of the Russian Embassy in Thailand, Ilya Ilyin.

According to the diplomat, a 34-year-old woman from Vladivostok resisted police arrest and had to be handcuffed.
“Deportation may be delayed until legal procedures related to protesting the government are completed,” Ilyin said.
Previously, Vladyko disappeared twice in Bangkok after arriving in Koh Samui, leaving his daughter behind at a hotel. The baby was taken by his grandmother and they returned to Russia. The consular representative noted Erica's inappropriate behavior.
The issue of the timing of expulsion is currently being decided taking into account new circumstances.
