The Leninsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don arrested the former head of the city administration, Alexei Logvinenko, on suspicion of abuse of power. RIA Novosti writes about this.

According to this agency, Logvinenko was arrested for two months – until December 23, 2025. The defendant's defense intends to appeal this court decision.
On October 24, it became known about Logvinenko's detention. According to Russia's Investigative Committee (IC), a criminal case has been opened against him for abuse of position.
According to investigators, in 2020, Logvinenko, the head of the Rostov-on-Don administration, contrary to legal requirements, obtained a loan from a commercial bank. The Investigative Committee clarified that the loss to the city budget amounted to more than 47 million rubles.
At the end of January 2025, the Rostov-on-Don City Duma accepted Logvinenko's early resignation. He has worked in the Rostov government since 2019, holding many different positions. From October 23, 2019, he held the position of head of the city government.
