Master artist Özkan Uğur passed away on July 8, 2023. Uğur, who saddened the art world with his death, would have turned 72 today if he were alive. Cem Yılmaz also did not forget his close friend Özkan Uğur on his birthday.

DISEASE
Uğur, who wrote many works such as “Hand Against the Gun”, “Well We Understand”, “Ali Desidero”, “From the Roses”, was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2013.
Uğur, who had overcome lymphoma three times but got cancer again, was taken to the intensive care unit and intubated. The master painter passed away on July 8, 2023.
