Tandoor bread is made by women from Marrin in Kadifekale, one of the historic districts of ̇zmir, both providing cultural heritage and contributing to the family budget.

Founded with wooden fire in Kadifekale walls, women cook bread typical for Marrin are producing all day.

Saying that they were uncomfortable with negative news about KadifeKale for many years, women wanted to be highlighted by the historical structure and hospitality structure of the neighborhood.

In Marrin district, most of them have lived in the area for many years, residents of the neighborhood continue to produce bread by their own means.

The bread is cooked in the Tandoor and is sold for sale as hot buyers from 20 pounds. Women invite citizens to taste delicious tandoor bread and to see the historic atmosphere of Kadifekale, saying they are waiting for all the people ̇zmir to the wall.

55 -Year -old Felek Bilmez, a bread maker at Tandoor in Izmir KadifeKale, said he had made a living from this job. Knowing, “We make bread with salt and yeast. Everyone loves it, they come from all over Izmir. We sell for 20 pounds, both healthy and cheap. But they are afraid to come here, this name is worse. However, we are not bad people, we are hospitable. We are waiting for all our citizens,” he said.
