As TASS reported, citing the AFP agency and South African police, 9 people were killed and 10 others injured due to a shooting in the city of Bekkersdal, about 40 km from Johannesburg. The incident happened on Saturday night and Sunday morning at a local pub.
According to South African police, the shooting started inside the facility and then moved into the street, where the attackers continued to attack passersby. After that, the attackers fled the scene.
Police have not yet identified the suspects and are conducting investigations and search operations to arrest them. Investigation teams are working on site to determine the details of what happened.
