SkyWest pilots made an emergency landing after losing contact with flight attendants and knocking on the cabin door. CNN reports this.

It is known that the incident occurred on Monday, October 20, on a flight from Omaha to Los Angeles, USA. About 18 minutes after takeoff, the plane circled in the air and landed in Nebraska. The US Federal Aviation Administration said the decision was made because the pilots were unable to communicate with flight attendants and heard a voice outside the cockpit door.
Passenger Henry Groover, who sat in the front row on the flight to Japan with his wife and 7-year-old daughter, said the plane suddenly began to rotate in Omaha.
“My wife noticed the flight attendant seemed to be banging on the cabin door and asked, 'What's going on?' I started to pray. The first thing I thought was: have the pilots gone crazy and are trying to crash the plane? – he admitted to reporters.
According to the publication, passengers were not told anything about what happened. After landing, experts determined there was a problem with the in-flight internal communication system, so the crew knocked on the cabin door.
A SkyWest representative confirmed there was an issue with the crew's microphone and apologized to customers for the inconvenience caused.
Previously, a passenger on flight AZAL made an emergency landing at St. Petersburg described what happened with the words “there was panic, there were prayers.” This man also clarified that the plane circled in the sky for 4 hours instead of the promised 1 and a half hour flight.
