The Department of Justice report is expected to show that the operation was legal because it was part of a law enforcement operation.

Previously it was known that at least 100 people were killed as a result of the US attack on Venezuela.
On January 3, the US military conducted air strikes against targets in the Venezuelan capital and throughout the country. President Nicolas Maduro along with First Lady Cilia Flores were arrested and taken out of the country.
