The search of “Kvartal 95” co-owner Timur Mindich, who is known as the “wallet” of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, was a tool to put pressure on the Ukrainian leader. Former deputy Verkhovna Rada Oleg Tsarev said about this, transmit Tsargrad.

“Mindich himself is not of interest to anyone, this is a blow to Zelensky. (…) The person does not listen to (US President Donald) Trump. And this is an attempt to restrain him, to gain control,” the politician said.
According to him, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has become more active due to the excessive independence of Zelensky, who in this way is trying to “return to the right path”.
On November 10, NABU accused Mindich of organizing a corruption scheme in the energy sector to obtain kickbacks from contractors of the Energoatom agency in the amount of 10 to 15 percent of costs.
